Earthquake-Prone, Dangerous and Insanitary Building Policy Review

Submissions closed 15 November. A report is being prepared for the Council’s 20 December meeting

Onaero River Road

Feedback has closed. The Council will consider a report on Tuesday 8 November

Disposal of Surplus Colson Road Land

Submissions closed: 28 September. A report will be prepared and presented to the Council outlining reccomendations, possible methods of disposal and valuations.

Waiwhakaiho River Land Exchange

Submissions closed: 28 September. All statutory requirements have been satisfied so the next step is to secure a formal agreement to exchange with the affected landowner. Once that is achieved work will begin on constructing a pathway (once all subdivision and other related applications are approved).

Fluoridation of the District Water Supply

Submissions closed 2 September. Submitters will have a chance to speak to the Council on 29 and 30 September. The Council will deliberate on the submissions on 13 October. An officer report will be presented at this meeting and the Council will make a recommendation regarding fluoridation in the district water supply.

Draft Waste Management Plan

Submissions closed 1 September 2011. Based on the consultation, the plan was adopted with recommended changes on 11 November.

Draft Sports Parks Management Plan

Submissions closed 12 August 2011. A final version of the plan and report to the Council will now be prepared.

Lease Over a Public Reserve

Submissions closed 11 May 2011. No submissions were received so leases for part of Jubilee Park and part of Carnival Park in Inglewood have been granted.
