Parking Prohibitions, Restrictions and Traffic Control Measures

At an ordinary meeting to be held in the Civic Centre, Liardet Street, New Plymouth on 12 July, New Plymouth District Council proposes to amend or create the following parking prohibitions, restrictions and traffic control measures:

New Plymouth
1. Prohibit some parking on the north side of State Lane east of Gover Street.
2. Prohibit some parking on the east side of Sackville Street north of Barriball Street and on the north side of Barriball Street east of Sackville Street.
3. Prohibit some parking on the west side of Brougham Street south of Hempton Street.
4. Revoke the bus stops on the south side of Blagdon Road east of Belair Avenue, the east side of Lorna Street south of David Street, and the east side of Seaview Road south of Devon Street West.
5. Prohibit some parking on the north side of Bulteel Street west of Robe Street and on the west side of Robe Street north of Bulteel Street.
6. Prohibit some parking on the west side of Mangorei Road south of Te Mete Terrace.
7. Prohibit some parking on the east side of Mangorei Road north of properties 503/507.

Inglewood
8. Revoke some parking restrictions and prohibitions on the north side of Kowhai Street east of Ngahere Street.

Rural
9. Change the give way control on the single lane bridge on Bristol Road RP 5793 from the southern approach to the northern approach.

Oakura
10. Create bus stops ‘7am – 7pm, Mon – Fri only’ on the west side of Dixon Street north of McFarlane Street, the east side of Wairau Road south of Messenger Terrace, the east side of Wairau Road south of McKellar Street, and the west side of South Road north of The Outlook.
11. Reduce the length of the existing bus stop on the south side of Donnelly Street east of Hussey Street, and create parking prohibitions at either end of the bus stop.
